Another SS/10 Big Hitter: Coral

Enjoying some spring weather this week, Jane stepped out in one of this season’s hottest shades, coral orange. You’ll be seeing it all over the make-up counters for one thing- lipsticks, blushers and eyeshadows are all jumping on the trend. Jane’s t-shirt was a Primark find, matched effortlessly with a Marithé François Girbaud skirt and Jigsaw cardigan.

Apologies also for that really creepy statue hiding in the background >shudder<. Mum and Dad seemed to think it would look awesome at the bottom of the garden path in the orchard where twisted old apple trees grow, in a village with no street lights…I disagree. I especially disagreed when I was 14 years old and forced to feed the pet rabbits nearby on cold, dark evenings when massive stone statues of evil goat/man things playing the pipes look like they’re going to drag me to Narnia…tell me what’s wrong with a lovely gnome HMMM??? Look out for coral-coloured nail varnish or lipstick which will both look great teamed with orange springwear. I’m particularly lusting after YSL’s Paris Passion Rouge Volupté coral lipstick (see below amongst some more of my favourite orange beauty buys).
